Position Summary: The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is a second level manager who plays a key role in the management of the site housekeeping operations, helping to meet quality standards and timeliness goals through the directing of team members. The Assistant Executive Housekeepers assists EH in meeting site budget and maintains a positive working relationship with clients. This role also helps to ensure team members meet safety standards, and that site assets are maintained. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is fully responsible for all site operations in absence of Executive Housekeeper.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creates schedules and assigns work to housekeepers, housemen, and Supervisors
Adjusts work of employees based on needs, call-outs, etc.
Monitors daily work hours to ensure compliance with budgeted hours
Exemplifies a sense of urgency with the entire team to ensure all units get turned on time
Inspects rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards
Retrieves housekeepers to address any areas that need to be re-cleaned
Conducts weekly report cards for housekeeping staff and MSI reports of Supervisors.
Coaches housekeepers to reach productivity standards
Assists in performance management of team members including coaching and counseling team members
Recommends discipline and termination of staff when necessary
Conducts performance reviews
Conducts weekly training meetings with Supervisors and monthly meetings with all staff
Finalizes the day in the Mastermind system
Interviews, selects and onboards new team members
Performs new hire orientations for new team members
Builds a positive rapport with the Resort Management Team and attends resort meetings
Manages inventory, conducting weekly inventory counts and orders replenishments
Reports unit maintenance issues
Maintains vehicle maintenance logs
Assists in solving guest complaints promptly
Conducts safety meetings and ensures staff follows day-to-day safety rules and procedures
Handles workers compensation issues and reporting
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum one year of progressive responsibility as Housekeeping Manager within the Company or equivalent external experience.
A proven track record of driving strong performance and key field operations metrics.
Language Skills: Effective written and verbal English communication, bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Work Environment: Working weekends, holidays and irregular hours.

Other Demands
Frequent mobility, standing, walking, stair climbing and/or sitting for extended periods of time
Frequent twisting, bending, stooping and reaching
Regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other office equipment
