We are seeking an Assistant Executive Pastry Chef for an upscale Resort Hotel. Previous Pastry experience in a high-volume environment is required. Banquet experience is also preferred. Experience with extensive, high-capacity a la carte menu and from scratch cuisine is a must. The focus is on consistent and timely delivery of a high-quality product in order to help guests experience a memorable stay and dining. We're looking for a natural born leader with experience in the fine dining field.

Assistant Executive Pastry Chef qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' in a team-leading or management role
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with from-scratch cooking
  • Being a great teacher and coach
  • Experience in hotel restaurants and asset
Assistant Executive Pastry Chef responsibilities:
  • All aspects of the Bakeshop for the entire hotel outlets including Banquets
  • Coaching team members and promoting departmental cohesion
  • Menu development following industry trends and guest needs
Assistant Executive Pastry Chef benefits:
