Job Description
Our upscale restaurant group is seeking a Chef de Cuisine. The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy the opportunity to lead, teach, and create each day. The menus change with the seasons, and we want you to push the creative limits of the restaurant.
Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
- Partner with the VP of Culinary to uphold and increase standards of fine-dining
- Leading menu development and recipe testing
- Train and develop a team of Sous Chefs into future leaders
- Financial accountability, inventory management
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and food presentation
- Partner with the Wine Director on wine dinners, pairings, and special events
Chef de Cuisine Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a fine dining environment (Michelin or James Beard experience is a big plus)
- MUST have significant French cuisine experience
- Demonstrated administrative abilities in inventory control, costing, and scheduling
- Experience with 5M or more in volume
- Polish and professionalism
