The Country' s hottest and fastest growing restaurant group is looking for a director of training. This successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and implementation of training strategies, courses, and processes to support our current and evolving goals. You will work closely with
the senior leadership to standardize systems and implementation across all of our restaurants.Being extremely adept at creating content and delivering it in person, video conferences, and email is a must. This role will also be responsible for developing a curriculum that seamlessly brings together training courses, enrichment opportunities, quizzes, classes and contests and track engagement levels down to the individual and follows them through their growth within the company. The ideal candidate will be flexible and possess a wide range of skills and knowledge for both technical training and leadership development. The Director of Training and Development inspires, and has a contagious enthusiasm for investing in people that will help build our bench, and fuel our future growth while strengthening our culture and the brand.

Key Activities/Responsibilities
Create training curriculum for new employees, internal promotions, and restaurant openings
Develop a core training program for TIPS, Serve-Safe, Food Handlers, software and systems
Analyze participant feedback through Survey Monkey and utilize findings for future training
Work with President and Culinary Director to implement systems, standards, and new menu
rollouts
Establish a consistent protocol for certifying and auditing remote training and certification
Recruit trainers and establish training associated with new restaurant openings
Deploy and lead training teams to restaurants
Implement leadership development curriculum to prepare employees for growth opportunities
Evaluate talent pipeline and shape learning and development opportunities to support growth of
existing bench
Management of (LMS) to create and deliver online training
Continue to evolve management training programs to increase preparedness and retention
Create a structured key development program that graduates key employees into management
positions


Education, Experience, and Skillset
Exude excellence in hospitality and a true passion to develop people.
Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt and lead change
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Self-driven and results-oriented with a solid track record of leading upscale casual restaurants
Flexible travel schedule (2-3 trips monthly based on business needs)
Minimum 3-5 years training for restaurant or hospitality company at a multi-unit level
Bachelor s Degree preferred
Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,
Powerpoint), Micros POS, Wisetail etc
