Recruiter Managing this Job

Sean Collard
Senior Recruiter
Ambassador

Sean Collard found his "Why" early in his career in hospitality. As a young manager with Hilton, he learned that everything else takes care of itself if you put your team first. Sean dedicates his time as a recruiter in service to his candidates and clients by building long-lasting relationships that are mutually beneficial for all.

Sean got started in the hotel business early with Marriott. Several years and a hotel opening later, he moved into Times Square to open an independent hotel which led to connections at Hilton. After 12 years managing Hilton branded hotels in Times Square, Sean joined the Hilton Garden Inn brand team. Over 14 years, Sean supported hotels covering six Hilton Brands in 16 markets and two countries. His last stint was working on a team of four that supported 237 hotels across the major markets in the US that produced over $3 billion in annual sales.

In 2021, Sean joined the team at Goodwin Recruiting and has been having a blast! He has leveraged several relationships into new clients for Goodwin. Sean's first placement was a General Manager he supported for HGI in 2006, and for a client he helped open a hotel with in 2014, proving that when you develop long-lasting relationships and take care of people, good things happen.

When Sean is not changing lives, you can find him spending time with his wife and four grown children, who all still live within 30 minutes of home. Sundays are especially important to Sean as he prepares a weekly dinner for family and friends. Sean lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife, Susan, Mother, Fran, and Mother-in-Law, Judy.
