We are looking for a Senior HR Director for a company based out of Spartanburg, SC that has approximately 20 Senior Living Communities. Each individual community has its own HR Specialist and would report directly to this individual. The position is currently open so this is not a confidential search. This individual must be willing to live or relocate to a commutable range from Spartanburg SC. This position reports directly to the COO. This candidate must be talented and fit all the job responsibilities below.

Senior Director of HR Job Requirements:
  • Needs to know the difference between Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Education - College Degree at minimum, SPHR degree. Masters is nice to have.
  • Will need to have knowledge of and feels comfortable doing employee benefits renewal process, ie. health insurance package.
  • Wellness needs to be a focus. An opportunity to see a program further enacted if realistic.
  • Employee relations. Handles any EEOC claims filed. Works on all employee matters that facility HRM s need further help with in order to fix the problems to combat the need for the employee to feel the need to file a charge.
  • Conduct bi-annual HRM meetings at the corporate office. Training appropriately in needed areas: ie... FMLA and ADAAA understanding
  • 10 years experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing.
  • Salary of $120,000 - $140,000

  • Presently, Scott is on the Board of Directors and serving a 3-year term as Board Chairman for Make a Wish of SC. He was recognized within Make a Wish with the Rising Star Award in 2016 as the number one turnaround chapter in the system.
