Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Responsibilities
  • Designs industrial power systems (primarily AC, from 120V 15kV) and PLC control systems
  • Applies National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable standards to all designs
  • Performs detailed engineering calculations for short circuits, voltage drops, cable/conduit/cable tray sizing, arc flash, lighting, heat trace
  • Develops detailed drawing packages, including one-line diagrams, installation details, BOM, panel schedules, lighting plans, motor schematics, field wiring diagrams, etc.
  • Assists in the field to support installations and provide general problem-solving, as required

Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 3+ years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience with power systems
  • EIT/PE licensure is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a penchant for detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual base salary range of $70K - $90K, based upon experience
