Work on Martha's Vineyard!!! We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team! We are one of the most respected and popular high-end restaurant and country clubs on Martha's Vineyard. High-volume, upscale experience needed. This position comes with housing and excellent salary with growth opportunities. This position also comes with a great quality of life after the season ends as it is dinner service only. In season must need an individual who is not afraid of extended hours and volume. Relocation expenses are negotiable for the right individuals. Looking to fill positions now!!

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day culinary operations
  • Must be able to oversee high-volume saute and broil
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Assist in the development of menu items
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Executive Chef Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in high-volume settings
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems
  • Passion for high-end, upscale cuisine
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • James has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and a Master’s Degree in History from American Public University in Washington, DC.  
  • His Ohio roots remain strong, and he is a huge Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams fan. He especially enjoys his beloved Cleveland Browns!   
  • James has lived with his wife, Eileen, and dog, Buckeye, in Sag Harbor, NY for 15 years.
