Welcome to the central coast of Maine! We are a small privately owned Lodging group looking for our next Executive Chef. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right professional who enjoys the northern lifestyle in Maine. This full-time, year-round opportunity will allow you to have 2-3 months off each year in the winter months to enjoy yourself. Executive Chef Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years in a similar role
- Menu development, costing, tastings, and implementation expertise
- Ability to hire, teach and guide new team members
- Proven experience with catering and wedding services, menu tastings provided with wedding packages
- Ability and willingness to foster engaging relationships with your guests
- Valid Driving license and clean driving record
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Lead teams by example, being the point of contact in Culinary for the property
- Mentor and develop team members and cultivate a work environment
- Willing and able to work actively in the kitchen in a hands-on manner
- Foster a true team environment by providing proper training and counseling, minimizing turnover
- Collaborate closely with the Executive team to develop new and compelling ideas for business growth
