A New Jersey Clinical facility is seeking to find an Executive Chef to join their team. Here's a chance to lead and train a culinary team, and to provide some comfort to patients and their families during challenging times.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes
  • Cooking and preparing high-quality meals in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner
  • Maintains a high level of sanitation
  • Reports any infractions to Executive Team
  • Maintains accurate inventories and ordering guidelines
  • Other duties as requested.

Executive Chef Requirements:

  • 5+ years of cooking experience required, preferably in a long-term care facility
  • Good working knowledge of methods and procedures for preparing and serving food
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and understand verbal and written instructions
  • High standards and initiative
  • Highly effective teamwork skills and the desire to make a difference
