Strong Candidate will have 2 years of NYC restaurant experience. Also you will be responsible for;
  • ensures all foh team members know and deliver excellent service because we want to do things for and not to our guests -
  • trains and motivates the team to understand customers needs - adjust style of service accordingly while still retaining individual personality
  • effectively deals with customer queries in a friendly way -
  • ensures the entire team works speedily during service so customers are served promptly. Waiting times are kept to a minimum -
  • remains calm during busy shifts and keeps the whole team focused
  • makes the interaction engaging, special and swift - constantly observes team members/restaurant to anticipate problems and combat them

people and teams
  • performs at a consistent level as a reliable member of the management team -
  • shows a natural pride in work. Always looking for potential improvement -
  • quickly identifies and communicates any problems upward -
  • istens carefully to feedback and responds quickly and appropriately -
  • has an understanding of budgets/managing labor etc. And works with gm to develop commercial knowledge - acknowledges brilliant performance when it happens
