Head Chef

An upscale dining establishment is looking for a Head Chef to lead the BOH team!

Head Chef Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Ensure proper techniques are being utilized by all BOH team members: correct portioning, prep, plating, etc.
  • Complete all Human Resources tasks: interviewing, hiring, onboarding employees
  • Participate in training/coaching of all BOH team members
  • Execute line checks during each shift
  • Adhere to all opening/closing procedures
  • Conduct team meetings alongside Sous Chef

Head Chef Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years in a similar role in an upscale or fine dining establishment
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Solid computer skills: Microsoft Office, Aloha, Hot Schedules
  • Able to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong leadership skills
