Job Description

An iconic resort is looking for a LAUNDRY ENGINEERING MANAGER to join its team and make an immediate impact by providing hands-on leadership to engineering and maintenance staff.

The ideal LAUNDRY ENGINEERING MANAGER will bring 2+ years of engineering, preferably in the hotel industry, trade certification, and a great leadership style!

  • Oversee maintenance, servicing, installation and inspection of all equipment in the laundry.
  • Possess a working knowledge and ability to perform and train staff on the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other laundry systems
  • Work with the Director of Laundry to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Track & record relevant maintenance & engineering metrics

  • 2 year degree or -- experience in lieu of degree welcome
  • Experience with HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Mechanical - Trade certifications a plus
  • Staff management experience required
  • Flexibile schedule required

During his last three years working at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, he recruited on both the property and the corporate level. He was also a lead recruiter for The Culinary Institute of America, from which he is an alum.

Away from the office, Simon enjoys cooking, adding to his ever-growing collection of over 1,000 cookbooks, and spending time with his spouse, their dog, and being in the great outdoors of the Colorado Rockies.
