Job Description
This position is for relocation to the coast of Georgia. All candidates must be able to relocate to the Georgia coast.
Resort hotel needs a strong Culinary Director that is a true agent of change. We need a confident leader that can usher efficiency and experience to a multi-outlet, resort environment with unparalleled opportunities. The ideal candidate will have many years of progressive leadership experience with knowledge and abilities at every level of service. The ideal candidate will be very ambitious and will desire to make a name for themself in the culinary world.
Resort Culinary Director Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Food and Beverage experience with multi-outlet Resorts or High-end hotels
- 5+ years of experience as Executive Chef or Culinary Director in $10M+ environments
- Experience with fine dining, high volume casual dining, and grab-and-go outlets
- Experience with Banquets, high-end, and large scale
- Experience concepting or re-concepting outlet, including menu design, recipe design, and providing a vision for the guest experience. New Restaurant opening a plus.
- Expert culinary financial knowledge and proven track record of meeting budget
- A strong and confident leader that drives change, trains, and inspires team members
- Classical training is a plus
- Willing and able to re-locate to the semi-remote area
Resort Culinary Director Responsibilities:
- Work directly with GM, Director of Food and Beverage, ownership, and management to develop a vision for the culinary program
- Develop all menus and recipes, train culinary management team to execute consistently
- Manage a team of managers in the culinary department
- Lead our property in high growth and re-development phase
