Laundry Manager Responsibilities:
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Managing, hiring, training, and scheduling department staff
- Ensuring linens, uniforms, and all other items are cleaned as per standard
- Maintaining a close relationship with the Facilities Department regarding equipment maintenance and repairs
- Developing new methodology for increasing efficiency
- Preparing and adhering to annual laundry budget
- 3+ years of experience in a housekeeping/laundry management role within the hotel industry. Individuals from a commercial laundry operation will not be considered.
- Experience with monitoring and recording laundry cost.
- Report preparation and monitoring.
- Computer knowledge and ability to navigate through hotel's software applications.
