Job Description


Our client is a well-established engineering firm looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer - Design/Piping/Fixed Equipment to join their team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, knowledgeable of design/drafting software, and has experience with refinery projects. If you are interested in complex technical assignments and helping as a team to provide engineering solutions for Fixed Equipment, we are looking for you!




Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities
  • Deliver mechanical and technical support for Fixed Equipment
  • Improve unit reliability and safety initiatives in collaboration with maintenance personnel
  • Provide solutions to equipment repairs, optimizing performance, and cost savings suggestions
  • Business team interaction and support completion of engineering packages
  • Execute engineering calculations including equipment thickness, bolting analysis, pressure vessel

Mechanical Engineer Requirements
  • BA Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering
  • 5+ years of design/drafting experience, refinery experience
  • Proficiency with design and construction codes: ASME VIII Div I, ASME B31.3, NBIC, API 570, ASME Sec I, ASME PCC 1&2, API 650
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical skills
  • Experience with pressure vessels, utility piping systems, power boilers, heat exchangers, tanks
  • Ability to perform essential functions within an industrial facility environment when required, also the occasional travel may be required

Mechanical Engineer Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual base salary range of $80K - $110K area ( DOE )
