Job Description

An emerging restaurant group with great growth opportunities seeks a General Manager to oversee the opening of a new restaurant in 2023. If you have new restaurant opening experience, want to be on the ground floor of something special, and have an entrepreneurial spirit, we want to talk to you.

General Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the new opening
  • Hire, train, and develop strong service teams
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L
  • Develop standards, training, and operating procedures for all restaurants
  • Until the restaurant is open, you will pitch in at the other restaurant

General Manager Qualifications:
  • Must have new Restaurant opening experience
  • 5+ years in the restaurant business
  • 4+ years as a GM of a fine dining restaurant concept
  • Familiarity and passion for Asian American cuisine
  • Proven track record managing high-performing service teams
  • Proficient in online platforms for reservations, scheduling, and POS systems
  • Expert knowledge of all NYC Dept of Health and sanitation procedures and regulations
  • Strong understanding and experience in smaller, neighborhood-based restaurants are strongly preferred
