Job Description
Are you a Project Manager in Construction considering a change? A smaller construction company with a " family style" environment is looking for a Project Manager. Mostly commercial and multi-family residential with projects ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to a few million. Pre-construction and planning through the final closing, you must ensure smooth delivery of the final project to a happy customer within budget and schedule.
Project Manager-Construction Responsibilities:
- Control and manage personnel, subs, schedules, budgets, and equipment, from pre-construction through final inspection and delivery
- Create bid packages, scope of work, estimates, schedules, and documents
- Monitor construction for quality of work, cleanliness, and safety while maintaining costs and schedule
- Validate invoices for labor and materials for payment
- Communicate and maintain good relationships with vendors, building officials, engineers, architects, sub-contractors, and customers
Project Manager-Construction Requirements:
- General computer skills including Microsoft and Microsoft Project (preferred)
- Valid driver' s license-local travel is required
- 5 years of related experience
- College Degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with AIA and Consensus documents required
- OSHA Training or willing to obtain
