Paul Venturo was drawn in by the creative side of the culinary world at an early age. He remembers helping his mom in the kitchen, preparing egg rolls, making muffins, and searing meat for the pasta sauce. Being in the kitchen just seemed natural to him. When Paul had an opportunity to work in a true commercial kitchen at the age of 14, he jumped on it and thus began his journey in the hospitality industry.

Paul has served as Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, Chef & B, and General Manager throughout his career. He has enjoyed gaining experience with Del Frisco's, the iconic Brown Palace Hotel, and the Convention Center in Denver, to name a few. He has always loved the busy vibe, the hard work and long hours, and the humorous banter between cooks and servers. The industry has a strange way of "taking one in" and making them feel welcomed.

Thirty-five years later, Paul looks back on many great successes, recognition from peers, a visit to the James Beard House, and many great relationships formed along the way.

Paul partnered with Goodwin Recruiting in November of 2021 as a way to give back to the industry and help influence individuals toward a career in the industry he loves, and to enhance his clients' businesses.

Paul is a Colorado native and enjoys most anything outdoors that the state has to offer.
