Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • Work as a team with the entire restaurant staff
  • Help oversee and manage all BOH managers and operations, ensuring a clean and organized back of house
  • Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Assist in training, scheduling, payroll, and evaluation of culinary team
  • Performing administrative tasks, taking inventory of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders
  • Setting and monitoring performance standards for the kitchen team
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef, management, and ownership to create a successful and efficient operation
  • Always create a great guest experience
  • Help manage kitchen daily operations

    • recipe adherence
  • Help monitor food freshness and quality

Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service Upscale Casual Restaurant
  • Passion for food and cooking
  • Ability and passion for leading a team
  • Knowledge of labor and food cost principles
