One of Austin's premier upscale restaurants is looking to hire an ambitious Sous Chef who is passionate about their craft, not afraid to work hard in this dinner-only concept, and desires to position themselves for an Executive Chef role down the road. Must have high-volume, scratch, farm to table, full-butchery experience. This is a chef-driven restaurant that is solely focused on the food & guest experience!

Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations while reporting to the Executive Chef & CDC
  • Coordinate food, supplies and kitchenware orders
  • Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients and all food preparations
  • Assist in the development of new menu items
  • Standardize recipes, plate presentations, and insist on superb cuisine
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in culinary arts, fine dining, or farm to table
  • Insist on the highest standards and absolute best experience
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities and love to train others
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Sous Chef Benefits & Compensation:
  • Compensation of $45,000-$50,000
