We are a "current" Upscale Casual Restaurant and Bar hiring a Sous Chef for our Houston location. Need to have experience in high-volume, upscale casual restaurants with annual sales north of $6 million. The ideal candidate will be management savvy and not just a "kitchen guy." Continued career progression is also important to us, as this Sous Chef position has great upward mobility options within the company. Do you have 5+ years of experience with the ability to move to the next level? A strong culinary background with schooling and great concepts? Bilingual in Spanish is a must!! Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • Drive productivity in the Back of House through detail-oriented management
  • Build Top Talent - one-on-one training, development, and mentoring
  • Deliver strong financial results through P&L management
  • Cleanliness and organization is a must
Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in a Back of House leadership position
  • Experience with a volume of $6 million in annual sales
  • Ability to grow within the company
  • Strong communication skills - Bilingual in Spanish is a must
