An upscale dining establishment is looking for a Sous Chef to support the BOH team!
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of kitchen operations
- Ensure proper techniques are being utilized by all BOH team members: correct portioning, prep, plating, etc.
- Complete all Human Resources tasks under the guidance of Head Chef: interviewing, hiring, onboarding employees
- Participate in training/coaching of all BOH team members
- Execute line checks during each shift
- Adhere to all opening/closing procedures
- Conduct team meetings alongside Head Chef
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- At least 3 years in a similar role in an upscale or fine dining establishment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Solid computer skills: Microsoft Office, Aloha, Hot Schedules
- Able to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong leadership skills
