We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Chicago.
You should have at least 4 years recent Sous Chef experience in a recognized restaurant group with a sales volume of at least $5 million and be a natural, creative leader wanting to grow!
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of food service staff
- Monitor quality of products and services produced
- Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain health standards for raw and finished products
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a high-volume, upscale to fine-dining experience.
- Knowledge of common food safety practices
- Strong leadership qualities and abilities to manage a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
Sous Chef Compensation:
- Competitive Salary $60,000 to 65,000
