An upscale casual private restaurant is searching for a Sous Chef to join their team. Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role in a casual or upscale casual full-service restaurant
  • Must have 100% scratch kitchen experience
  • New restaurant opening experience is a huge plus
  • Fully versed in financials - numbers cruncher
  • Fair but firm management style - not a micro-manager
  • Experience with a variety of cuisines and styles
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • Sous Chef will also be responsible for being present in the front of the restaurant, chatting with guests regularly
  • Maintain high-level standards of GM and owner at all times
  • Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in all back of the house duties
