Sous Chef needed for high volume, upscale restaurant with event space

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with upscale, high-volume a la carte and banquet experience for our Granada Hills location. Founded in California, we have restaurants from coast-to-coast.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • All BOH functions including cost controls, staffing, training, inventory and food quality
  • Create memorable dining experiences that guests will not soon forget
  • Lead the culinary team to excellence
Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • Highly talented, creative and smart professionals
  • Vibrant, take charge chef who wants to make an impact on the region' s culinary scene.
  • At least 3 years experience as a Sous Chef with high volume experience of at least $8M
  • Experience with simultaneous a la carte dining and banquets
  • Some corporate restaurant experience is highly preferred for systems and hotel or event venue banquet experience is a plus
  • Hard-worker
  • Independent self-starter
  • Great personality
  • Possess a strong desire to make an impact
Sous Chef Compensation:
  • Base salary in the $50K to $55K range and excellent benefits
