The concept has a strong focus on Asian cuisine, so someone with a background in that area is desired. Sous Chef Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Executive Chef in managing the daily operation of the kitchen
  • Training and developing back of house management and hourly staff
  • Meeting and exceeding labor costs through efficient and effective scheduling
  • Overseeing inventory and food ordering
Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience cooking Asian cuisine in a fine dining or resort-style environment
  • Experienced in high-volume operations
  • Strong training mentality, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Culinary degree is a plus but not a deal-breaker
