We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our team! This is for an upscale restaurant group with huge growth potential. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation. This is a year-round position in Montauk that can grow as we grow!!

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations with Executive Chef
  • Coordinate food and operations with General Manager and Owner
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Assist in the development of menu items
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in high-end high-volume restaurants a must
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems
  • Passion for food and knowledge of the Hamptons culinary scene
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
