Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Sr Transportation/Roadway Project Manager to join an established and growing transportation and structural engineering firm. This individual will take on a leadership position within the roadway team providing active engagement with clients, including INDOT.




Sr Transportation/Roadway Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and assess civil design documents including, but not limited to interstates, highways, intersections, interchange layouts, etc.
  • Ensure project costs, schedule, and performance targets are achieved
  • Serve as project manager/liaison between technical resources and clients, including attending client meetings
  • Engaging in business development efforts to support the development of project pipeline
  • Mentor and coach more junior engineers and project managers to develop staff

Sr Transportation/Roadway Project Manager Qualifications:
  • Active Indiana P.E. License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Bachelor' s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of civil experience in road and hydraulic design and project management
  • Experience with AASHTO design standards required
  • Experience with DOT is highly desirable
  • Experience with design and modeling software tools, including AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation, GeoPak, InRoad, GuideSIGN, AutoTURN
  • Project management/coordination skills and a desire to help develop others are critical to success

Sr Transportation/Roadway Project Manager Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary of $90-130K area, DOE
  • Annual bonus potential
