One of Houston' s favorite steakhouses is in need of a Sous Chef! You will need to be very hands-on and work side by side with the kitchen team to ensure quality products are being created. Food cost and kitchen labor cost will be your responsibility and must be kept within budget. You must have strong people skills with a strong desire to develop others, great organizational skills, and a passion for food and service.

Sous Chef Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a high-volume fine-dining or upscale restaurant
  • Steakhouse experience strongly preferred
  • Financial acumen
  • Culinary training with extensive cooking and production experience (culinary education a plus)
  • Cognisant of local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws.
  • Strong organizational skills, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with the ability to take ownership of the situation
