Our Client is looking for a Swiss Machinist to join their machining team. Being well-versed in Swiss-style CNC lathe setup/programming and being open to working both in-house and in the field is ideal. CNC Machinist/Programmer Responsibilities:
  • Work with Sales Engineers, including assisting with sales calls to make machine and tooling recommendations
  • Understand programming with the ability to make necessary adjustments at startup to produce nominal parts
  • Make complete set up including loading of program, checking and positioning of fixtures and cutting tools, and offset programming adjustments
  • Learn how to develop turnkey projects for customers, then train them how to use

CNC Machinist/Programmer Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of CNC equipment operating experience, preferably working with DMG Mori/Okuma/Swiss machines.
  • Willing to accommodate some travel
  • CAD/CAM system experience
  • Familiar with at least one of the following controllers, all would be preferred: Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens
