Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality food and service
- Food ordering and controlling food costs
- Staff scheduling and controlling labor costs
- Ability to multitask and get things done efficiently as possible
- Hold staff accountable to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to develop a strong staff by continuously training and coaching
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a fine-dining or upscale-casual scratch kitchen
- High-volume experience- $3 million-plus
- Understands quality and helps uphold standards at all times
