One of NYC's most unique restaurant and hospitality groups is seeking a professional, dynamic, organized, customer service oriented event coordinator. The event coordinator should have a love for special event management, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic and polished professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external clients.

Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Contract and book event venues, plan and coordinate food and beverage menus with clients and internal team
  • Plan every aspect of each event from beginning to end
  • Provide direct and clear communication to all parties
  • Communicate with staff internally on all event details, updates and changes
  • Maintain organized and thorough files pertaining to each client and event
  • Demonstrate upbeat and outgoing demeanor at all times
  • Consistently anticipate needs and diagnose areas of opportunity while meeting deadlines with little to no supervision
Event Coordinator Requirements:
  • Prepare and modify event contracts as requested or required
  • Coordinate appointments and tours to see our venues and schedule events on the company calendar
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time while meeting strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
  • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
  • Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Experience using event management software and related computer skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of upscale, large scale event planning experience required
