General Manager' s requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to make an immediate impact on restaurant results
  • High energy and success-driven
  • Ability to build strong, cohesive teams and pursue excellence relentlessly
  • 5 years of General Manager experience or higher in a Full Service, High-Volume Restaurant
  • Upscale-dining background
  • Great tenure - 3 years on average in jobs
  • Experience and ability to expedite from a high-volume kitchen
  • College education, at least 2 years
  • Ability to analyze and dissect a P&L
  • Highly Organized
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Serv Safe Certified preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Authorized to work in the United States

General Manager' s responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant
  • Ensure the highest level of food quality and service
  • Hold management team accountable for their designated departments
  • Ensure the restaurant is compliant with all health department regulations
  • Ensure correct staffing to ensure superior execution
  • Directing teamwork-style service at all times

He has worked with large upscale companies such as Ruth's Chris and Landry's and has been involved in multiple openings including the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City.
 
In 2021, Chris joined the Goodwin team as a Recruiting Partner. He has close relationships with his clients in the South Florida, Maryland, and North Carolina markets. His clients include large multi-concept companies, small family-owned businesses, bars and nightclubs, and country clubs. Chris lives in the South Florida market and visits his local clients regularly. He was able to secure seven clients in his first five months with the Goodwin team.
 
 
Outside of the office, Chris spends time at the park or the beach with his terrier mix rescue from Puerto Rico. He enjoys getting out for a round of golf or relaxing with a nice cigar and a rum & coke. You might find Chris working on his car when he isn't behind his desk. He also enjoys visiting family and clients in Maryland whenever he gets the chance.
