The Vice President of Sales will be primarily responsible for driving revenue growth in their assigned region. They will manage their sales team' s performance using the organization' s sales training and best practices. This individual will also work with the regional sales team on identifying potential new clients, developing and maintaining business relationships, and closing sales.

Vice President of Sales Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role with extensive training/coaching experience
  • Experience managing a remote sales force
  • Leadership experience in service industries such as hotels or corporate housing
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and manage a sales team required
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • Tech-savvy
  • Training in negotiation and sales preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends, travel/relocation industry, and economic factors
  • Possess a strong drive to succeed and exceed expectations in all metrics
  • Able to travel up to 30%
  • Reside within a commutable distance to the corporate office in Reston, VA
  • Active member of local networking organizations
Vice President of Sales Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth within the region by providing training and motivation to the sales team
  • Support the local team in the identification of new clients and building congruent relationships
  • Work with the sales team to create innovative strategies for local markets
  • Develop sales plans for the market and ensure all metrics are being met
  • Travel as needed for client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and training meetings
  • Maintain communication with all departments at the corporate office to ensure that all sales goals are on target
  • Perform all HR functions for the region including hiring, onboarding, training/coaching, counseling, and terminations when needed
  • Understand and commit to the organization s core values and objectives
  • Oversee a team of approximately 15
