Our fine dining restaurant in beautiful Vermont is looking for an experienced Wine Director. If you are passionate about wine and want to work in a high-end environment where you head up an award-winning beverage program and where every single detail matters, then we want to talk to you!




Wine Director Qualifications:
  • Oversee menu development and implementation for the property
  • Organize and conduct training sessions and programs to develop the knowledge of the team
  • Create and implement wine dinners, specials, and features that will drive sales and enhance the guest experience
  • The position will work manager shifts as well to support the team as well
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and develop
  • Preferably pedigree from Michelin Guide-level execution, but not required

Wine Director Requirements:
  • Level 1 Sommelier preferred and require 5 years of management experience in upscale restaurant concept(s)
  • Have excellent communication, organization, and teaching skills
  • Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, premium spirits, and menu paIring

Greg graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, majoring in Hotel/Restaurant Management. Greg lives in Annapolis, Maryland, and has been married to his wife, Kristen, since 2003. They have two amazing children, David and Kailee.
 
In his spare time, Greg enjoys hanging out with his family, cooking, sports, and any outdoor activity like hiking, camping, and fishing.
